Fair play, it's just about putting ourselves in the position of others.
Too many daft comments on here about young people borrowing beyond their means, etc. They simply have no choice!
It's good that most of your generation could buy a house, I think you faced different challenges. Mortgages averaging 11% for decades would have made it difficult, even if the house price was cheap initially.
But at least most of your generation and mine could get on to the housing ladder, with a reasonable job.
The outlook is bleak for 20 somethings and anyone younger, I don't know what hope they have, other than relying on parents and inheritences. If they don't have that advantage, then they've no chance
