Never had it so good...... Try telling the pensioners that received the pension before 2016. They are receiving £2400 per year less than current pensioners. Most pensioners worked all their lives and have paid into the system for many years so that the youth of today could have a better standard of living. I don't have a mortgage but pay rent, my rent and Council tax has wiped away my pension increase. It seems that you need to take a reality check. Most pensioners like Doss and me have worked all our lives, which is allowing us to try and live a decent life during our retirement. |
