Statistically he might be, but his whole argument is a load of bollocks to be fair. I've never read so much tripe. So in three months time when my pension arrives to replace my salary I'm then expected to subsidise younger people who haven't used the last ten years or so of record low interest rates to reduce their mortgages. For the record ... Interest Rate in the United Kingdom averaged 7.11 percent from 1971 until 2023, reaching an all time high of 17 percent in November of 1979 and a record low of 0.10 percent in March of 2020. |
