But not using full stats is just as bad, simple one here, far more over 65’s are female than males, and we all know that males make up a massive percentage of football fans, this would distort figures drastically . Also the figures given for the under 65’s goes right down to 16, the first age band alone only equates to 1.4%, think that was 16-20, take that out and the figures get closer, I can think of lots of other situations that would distort the figures I agree that there are a lot of over 65’s in a comfortable position, mainly because they have already “served their time”, and remember of course that they will in turn be possibly setting up an average 2 people to get along the way to owning their own home |
