Counts of Monpezat are the new Rosenborgs. So if Queen Margrethe kept the tradition of grandchildren of the monarch who do not marry other royals lose their style & title upon marriage, this would have been unnecessary, wouldn't it? They could then make the decision going forward that only Prince Christian's children would have princely titles.

I meant what if they hadn't changed anything. They don't do count of Rosenborg any more, even though all the current marriages would have been considered morganatic in the old days.
