Countess Alexandra's statement seems very strong, as does Prince Joachim's. Especially Alexandra saying her sons feel ostracised.
AS the Queen has said she has been considering the decision for some time she makes clear it was her choice so the criticism would seem directed at Her Majesty. Such a shame as the Queen seemed to have a good relationship with Alexandra.

I read elsewhere that Joachim was informed in May. So not a bombshell. I guess no one told Alexandra in advance, though.
