Right now I am thinking the joint Houses will not be involved , there is no need to : HMTK has issued a formal statement and it will e followed … as QE2 issued a statement on the styles and titles of the children of the then Earl and Countess of Wessex; the statement was accepted , as noted by Nellie . The UK parliament has far too many things to discuss right now , the removal of an HRH style and title won’t be one of the them. The precedent this would set is unimaginable. An Act of Parliament to legalise this would not take up too much time. It could be hurried through both Houses if need be as was the bill for Edward VIII's abdication in 1936.
