I remember he was approached to accept the crown of one of the Baltic states, not sure which.
How serious was the offer ?
Did his father, the king, prevent him from accepting it, or didn't he even need to do it ?
It would have qualified for a younger son reaching a throne.
It was Estonia, but the idea came from a rather insignificant group of Estonian monarchist, so not offer was ever given.
