Previous Message How would his case count? I know that he didn't automatically succeed his predecessor on the Danish throne (King Frederik VII) by inheritance.
He was, if not elected, selected to succeed Frederik VII. The London Protocol, where it was confirmed that Christian would be the heir to the Danish throne was signed by Austria, France, Russia, Prussia, United Kingdom, Sweden and Denmark.
