Re: The reported conversation
And in that footage of the Queen and other members of the RF "effortlessly socializing" you will frequently see Lady Hussey at their elbows, smoothing the way, introducing all those people they are meeting, and generally helping the modern monarchy do its thing in the glare of the media. That is one reason why, until this ruthless defenestration, she was regarded as such an asset to them. Lady Hussey's husband's career was in the media -- Times Newspapers and the BBC -- so she has seen it all and met many people outside of the royal orbit. Previous Message Previous Message "Zero tolerance" is a mindset that cannot work in the British monarchy and I'm sure even King Charles understands that. For how many decades must the BRF lead by example before all members of the royal household are expected to do the same? There is endless news footage of the late Queen, Charles, Diana, William, Harry and other royals effortlessly socializing with people of every stripe and background. In this respect, they have been leading their staff and British society by example for decades. Their unfailing warmth and tact in these interactions indicates that, as far as today's RF is concerned, the tone-deaf colonialist mindset of old has no place around them.
