you tell your neighbours that in 1975 the politicians in uk LIED to the voters, we all thought it was a trade agreement. Ask them if they would be happy to have foreigners passing laws that they have to incorporate? I know their answer because I and many others feel the same. I did not anticipate the political turmoil which would follow the vote, but I'm sure it'll sort itself out. My biggest fear is that they (the MP's) will try to fudge the immigration from the eu thing, in the event of that happening there will be trouble and I would be honoured to lead the first march to parliament. The one thing against this is that UKIP (the reason for the vote - Cameron was afraid that the libs and labour would form a coalition so to keep his vote he promised a referendum) should they try and carve this up then in 4 years time when the diehard "outers" vote ukip there will only be one result = lots of tory mp's out of work and a labour scots government, what fun that will be !
Other than that, people are too fixated about the single market, truth to tell there are 28 countries who are not in it that export more to the eu than we do, and finally, since Germany will be paying more into the eu fund would they be willing to lose 20 per cent of their car exports which go to the uk?
Have fun explaining Fred !
