I read it last week but didn't think much of it as it seems a poorly evidenced audit. I'm struggling to see your point is it that not enough of us have died to show we didn't get enough ppe? I wouldn't have expected too many deaths of staff among ICU and anaesthetic staff, as they have access to more ppe than other units and ICU nurses don't look after a dozen patients at a time. It would be interesting to look at infection rates among staff and perhaps deaths of other members of their household. Staff sickness here has been running at 15-16%, but you would expect most staff to be relatively healthy and therefore more robust, it may not be the same for other members of their household.
