The Danes have the simplest ceremony, a proclamation on the balcony of Christiansborg Palace. They happen to be my favourite monarchy because i think the current queen has managed to combine traditions with keeping the monarchy relevant and of it's time.
I simply don't think that Charles III's coronation is a recipe to be repeated for William V. By the time he succeeds i doubt the majority of UK citizens would describe themselves as active members of the Anglican Church. Making a religious service the centre of installing the new sovereign potentially controversial.
And as i wrote it is how i feel about what we saw take place on Saturday i don't expect you to agree.
You feel less monarchist now?
When your ideal is the Dutch monarchy anything else might be strange whereas I look to your country and I would be disappointed if my monarchy were like the Dutch one.
You keep yours, we will keep ours.
