Representation of so many faiths was a success.
I believe there were compromises that affected the service in the Abbey, so that the old and new often jarred for me.
All of the outdoor pageantry was outstanding. It is what the UK does so well but this occasion outstripped all previous.

The balancing of history with sustainability is not a pushover.
I would have preferred to see the crimson robe of Queen Elizabeth II preserved as it was. That robe was worn by her to many many State Openings of Parliament throughout the longest reign in British History. Imagine that: a garment unique to the longest reigning monarch.
At this point I feel we have seen the final coronation. If there is a next it could be in the style of an installation, with simply a display of the sovereign's crown or with other selected pieces of regalia added. Dress code? Will it matter.
