My take: they could at least have chosen formal evening wear (which the Scandinavian royals almost always do for their special events) instead of the formal day wear which they selected. White tie, long gowns, and decorations would have been more memorable than the variety of lounge suits that I just saw.
I screen capped during and after the Coronation. I know a number of people will have not liked the ceremony. To me it was perfect to the person who now wears the crown. It was a service of coronation and not a ceremony of coronation. It very much reflected the personality of the King. I didn't miss the glitter and bling. The Princess of Wales looked stunning as did The Queen. It was nice to the Queen's children and grandchildren front and centre as well.
6th Century bible was used for the Gospel Reading.
The screens instead of canopy worked wonderfully
Having his son help him during the investing was so touching.
