That may be so, but being British as I am the British Monarchy is not irrelevant to me. Particulary in the current time my country is going through it is more relevant and needed than it has ever been. The Monarchy is the glue that is holding the country together.
Of course not. I do not have rose tinted glasses nor am I 'dewey-eyed' in regard to the King and the rest of the family. They are human, have flawes etc.
The British Monarchy is most definitely not a relic. It's importance and as I have said is vitally needed in this country at the moment. It is being seen as the only stable instituation at the moment. Everything else is crumbling down.
The British Monarchy is not a relic being consigned to dusty forgetten shelves of history. It's never been needed more at the moment. Not and never will be a relic.
