DaNang Harbor"
I don't know you sir, but I know for a fact that HORNE was in DaNang harbor. One of our MM's the engineman for the small boat that went ashore & possibly the Captain's Gig w/our Capt TURNER & his accompanying officers did swing on the anchor in DaNang harbor. This engineman has a copy of the HORNE POD=PLAN OF THE DAY that definitely says HORNE was scheduled there for >8 hours.Email a response & I will share his name & email w/you. Maybe one of your JOUETT crew members might have a copy of the JOUETT's plan of the day. I had a good friend named RICHARD BUYA,YN or YN3 who was from Indianapolis, IN. Did you know him? I also live in Danville, Il where a GEORGE DOWELL lives. He was a JOUETT crew member. I will look him up and see if he knows you or hasd any such documentation ?! Thanks for starting this.
