No it's not if the name is legally passed through a female line. Genealogically the King of the Netherlands, the Grand Duke of Luxembourg as well as the prince of Monaco all descent from the previous sovereigns ruling their country even if it is through a female line. All three countries have made it legally possible to transfer the family/dynastic name through the female line. That is actually not uncommon or at least not in the Low Countries where you occasionally find that children get the name of their mother and not of the father even if he was her husband.
But it is not unlikely that he will keep the name Glücksburg for the Royal House, just like the Dutch Royals say that they are Nassaus and the Russians that they are Romanovs.
The Dutch like to keep the fiction that they are Orange.
It's the Luxembourgs that want to be called Nassaus.
And the Monacos who like to be named Grimaldis btw
Okay, but fiction it is from a genealogical point of view.
