Both Elisabeth and Catharina-Amalia were present in Norway and Denmark when the second in line of succession of that country got both orders. It feels a bit unfair the Benelux ladies were left out.
It's tempting to say: "No party, no gifts". If these Benelux ladies' own 18th birthdays had been officially celebrated with the Norwegian and Danish royal families in attendance, they might have received a decoration as well 😊
