On his 18th birthday today, Prince Christian of Denmark has been given the Order of the Elephant. Normally it is not disclosed who has earlier worn the same insignia of the order, but we are told that Prince Christian has received the elephant that belonged to his grandfather Prince Henrik.
Crown Prince Frederik's elephant has earlier belonged to Frederik IX and Christian IX.

Prince Christian has also received the Grand Cross of the Norwegian Order of St Olav today.
