It's curious that Trump is going to visit Denmark when one of his potential opponents in the presidential race Bernie Sanders has used Denmark as a positive example of how to do things.
It’s all about the Arctic and Russian and Chinese interests in investing in Greenland.
The US has had permanent military presence in Greenland since 1951 as part of their own defence.
It seems someone has been able to convince Trump that even an America first strategy needs international collaboration - which is quite an achievement.
The left wing of the Democratic party in the US is basically what in Europe is the central left usually represented by social democratic parties.
Drifting away from topic - but the left wing of the Democratic party to me seems just as extreme as the right (not talking Bernie Sanders). It’s sad watching a country grow apart - trying to take all international collaboration along with them to the grave.
