I just feel sorry for Queen Margrethe, she is known for her attention to language and now she has to receive someone whose conversation skills are not exactly high standing (to say the least).
Without getting into the rights and wrongs of it, I am curious for any insights as to why the invitation was extended and why it was accepted. It's was announced earlier this week that the POTUS will be in Poland on September 1 to mark the 80th anniversary of World War II (which the United States did not enter until two years later). But given the unpopularity of President Trump in Scandinavia I wonder what the Danish government's logic was. (And also whether any other neighboring countries will follow suit.)
President Trump and the First Lady Melania Trump will pay a state visit to Denmark on 2-3 September 2019.
More details and program will follow later on.

After that clown's attacks on Sweden recently, I can only say: Poor Denmark!
