GayNell, I remember the Grand having a sidewalk on the south side and it was indeed on the corner lot. It cost 12 cents to get in until you were 12 years old and then it went to 50 cents. I had to bring my birth certificate up to prove I was not old enough to pay 50 cents yet when I was about 10. Anybody remember the actor William Elliott, aka ‘Wild Bill’ Elliott, making a personal appearance at the Grand about 1950 or 51?
