I'd like to see a target man who can hold the ball up like Bennett. The problem was Bennett was diabolical in front of goal. Yes he held up play well - and we need someone in that role, but they've also got to be capable of scoring sitters from 2 to 5 yards out! I don't think Reid has become a bad player overnight and he's going through a bad patch. Maybe Quigley was meant to be the target man to play alongside him? Quigley will probably be out for 5 to 6 weeks, so I hope we can bring in a target man on loan, who can help Reid out. |
