" The black lives matter organisation has a Marxist leadership who amongst other things believe in dismantling capitalism and defunding the police.The death via police brutality of George Floyd - a convicted armed robber and drug dealer - in the USA has been politicised in this country in a way that bears no accurate relationship to the life experience and treatment of black people here. To introduce it into football as if it is a good cause to be worshipped here is in my opinion ridiculous. A change by football authorities to change the message to opposing racial discrimination is more acceptable of course. But it does not need to be pushed down the throats of people at every football match they watch.
