    People hate to admit they're wrong, so as I say, I doubt those white people with right-leaning views will change or at least accept there is a problem. Those are the most dangerous people out there because it is usually they who swallow the government and media bias and bullshit. These people are scared that supporting anti-racism causes is too radical, too left-wing. They're scared of not being 'British', where their own sense of messed-up patriotism means disliking outsiders and believing the Brexit propaganda. We can all champion good causes and give people the information needed to form well-rounded views, but unfortunately, people will make up their own minds (You can lead a horse to water, and all that...).

    There are many pillars of society who have a huge responsibility to change opinions. You mention pop culture; the producers of film, TV, music and the big websites need to stop the bias towards the portrayal of BAME people as criminals. The news-reporting media too must be held accountable in a more robust way for their prejudiced reporting.
    As far as the police are concerned, you'll probably find that closeted racist views and bigotry are the factors in the disproportionate number of arrests between white and black (I think this probably links in with pop culture's view of the typical black criminal and because of this it's an easy stereotype). The sooner police officers are better educated and proper background checks for all officers (including their social media activity - I've no idea if they already do this, so I could be wrong here), the sooner we'll see fairer policing. It's sad we should have to resort to these methods, but there you go. Systematic racism.

    In regards to exactly how we solve the problem, I think I've tried to answer that above. I agree it isn't easy as there are so many layers to it. You can point towards all sorts of sociological issues like housing, education, health and employment.
