    We've heard a lot over the last week about how racism is taught and not simply a trait one is born with, this is correct and perpetrators stirring hate and division are the establishment (government, media and police). Once they start to take racism seriously and treat everyone equally that will be a start. However, one only has to look at how the last two treat BAME people and it demonstrates they're quite happy for the status quo to remain; it gives the police a chance to crack a few skulls in the name of keeping order or using stop and search illegally to meet their monthly quota, this feeds the media's need to get clicks/sells papers. The government are happy for the working classes to turn on each other and when people are angry race is often brought in to it, like some kind of siege mentality. Once we realise we're all on the same side, regardless of skin colour, you'll start to see change, but given the number of racist posts on Facebook in regards to the BLM protests, I highly doubt the majority of white people are willing to change their views.

    Absolutely agree with the colonialism views. This country abused, enslaved, raped, stole and invaded their way across the world all in the name of capitalist cash and power. But we're all invited to believe this Empire crap was Britain's attempt to civilise these countries, I'm sure the people of those countries saw it that way too.
