This is how you prevent it. This is the only way. Adding more costs by continuing the season without adding income is the surest way to end vulnerable Clubs.
The proposal I am talking about doesn't add costs without income.
The games can be streamed on a pay per view basis. There will be a market, because their won't be any crowd at the game and fans will want to watch their club and some football.
I honestly don't understand why you don't think we should resume the season, it can be done, when safe to do so - probably at the start of June, with full testing in place.
Deals don't need to be renegotiated. Promotion and relegation can still happen. Football clubs can stay in business. The wall pushers can have their precious trophy. The integrity of football can remain in place - with a full season completed.
It's all possible. Yes, it will be rubbish without any crowds and no one wants that, but we have to accept that is how it is. There is no way mass public gatherings can be done safely.
