It's not emotion wanting the season to be finished. There is no logic, no continuity, if it isn't completed.

Furthermore, it opens up a legal and financial mine field. The Premier League alone is being threaten with a £700m rebate by the broadcasters, if the season isn't completed.

Emotion is using death statistics. Life has to go on after covid 19, the whole country needs to come out of this lockdown at some point and so does football. The only way to ensure everyone's safety is to play beind closed doors and ensure the everyone involved in the set up is fully tested and clear of the virus.

The games are likely to take place at 2 or 3 venues and staged at various times throughout the day. This minimises the people involved in broadcasting the matches. Broadcasting the games allows all clubs to recoup some much needed finance.

Yes, playing the games behind closed doors would be rubbish, but I don't see an alternative.

If you don't finish the season, how do you deal with these questions?

    - How do you deal with the rebates broadcasters want? £700m for the Premier League. The EFL will face the same issues

    - How is promotion and relegation decided?

    - How do you prevent dozens of clubs from the Premier League and EFL going bust?

    - How do you deal with the scousers not winning the League and listen to them pissing and whinging about it for the next century?
