A new stadium a la Bolton would be fine for me. Location is the key but I am not a sentimentalist and providing the front of the Bergara stand was built into it i would take it all day over a ground which when developed would still contain the out of place Cheadle End and a 1930's remnant.

Brisbane will, as some will know, host the 2032 Olympics. 3 years after getting the event they have just decided the Gabba- which has had billions spent on underground rail access, is too unsuitable for redevelopment so will be demolished and a 63000 seat stadium will be built north of the river at Victoria Park on an old golf course now public park. The protests have already started.
