Y'know, this is really a tough one. My favorite thought on stuff like this is the old line attributed to Groucho Marx (but it really predates him) which says, "I wouldn't want to belong to any club that would have me as a member".

My opinion on your situation is if you can still spend time with these ladies and not feel any resentment or feelings of offense, then by all means stay. If you will be on edge with the the Zoom calls then you may need to reevaluate your activities with them. I find it astounding that with the length of time you have all been together and assuming there's been no overt hostility, why would they do this? It couldn't possibly end well. Also, why didn't any of the other invitees speak up? They can't all be ignorant to the consequences.

Me, I'd find another group.
