It's the 12th day after chemo, and she is energetic, insisting on wheeling ME in the wheelchair to the appointment. A couple of days after infusion of chemo is when it hits her, and she couldn't care less about her appearance, but by the 12th day (today) she's wearing nice tops and pants, a gold chain belt set with zircons, fancy flowered thong sandals, and rings on her fingers and rings on her toes! And eatin' up a storm. It's so good to feel good.
Our appointment was confuzled, we weren't sure if it was 9 or 10, so we left early and had time for breakfast at Jack-in-the-Box. The morning was perfect and the landscaping here in the Valley is a joy to behold. Green, green and flowers everywhere.
Everyone you see here is wearing a mask, some wear masks AND shields. It's da law in California, you can't enter anywhere without a mask. Bert bought all in the family cat masks with their tongues hanging out, everyone laughs when the see us, but I prefer my KN95.
