Re: How's things? - Carol
You're right..things do get old but in the Summer things in the yard are always renewing. We have our bird feeder that draws a lot of attention, sometimes more than I'd like, but between the squirrels and various winged critters, it can be interesting to watch. We do have a landscaper once a week, but they only cut the lawn so a weed walk is required. I'm trying to clean out the house and it's a slow process. I'm offering things that have a value to local friends before I donate or toss. Even if I wanted to redecorate, it would be difficult without a major clean-out and at this point, don't feel it worthwhile except necessary upkeep. The good for us here is that beaches are ten minutes away and during the week that would be a getaway if either of us could tolerate the sun. On a weekend, with reduced capacities, a beachgoer would have to be on the beach by 7 or 8 before the parking fields are locked down. This week, another new PITA for those who escape to the shore, they can't go in the water. Sharks have been sighted close in to the shore all along the LI ocean coast and pollution levels have been high in the bay beaches.
