Tomorrow I will go with her to the oncologist for her pre-chemo appointment. She would like to be hospitalized for the first few days, instead of having to go back day after day, but I don't think Kaiser will do it. They will probably send her home with an infusion set- up. Making the trip daily and navigating that huge facility when you're so sick, especially in these Covid times, is hard on the patient and exhausting for the caregivers. Don't mean to belabor the point, but it was really hard the first 10 days, nor is anyone looking forward to the next.
So let me see, what is of interest that is lighter and happier. Our kitty Ronan, who had another stroke last week, has improved and is doing well. I may have told you sometime back that I am hearing from my first boyfriend, the one I was so wild about when I was a teen. He is calling and messaging every day or so about my daughter. Some of our conversations are personal and deep, and it's a welcome distraction.
I try to keep a general presence on FB, and keep it light.
I've been waking with a slight sore throat, hint of earrache, and drippy nose. It is probably from my sinuses and goes away as the day wears on. But I have been to doctors' offices and hospitals so many times this month that I get a little nervous. Wouldn't that just top it all off?
