The numbers of Covid cases by town was published today and ours was among the higher ones. Problem is they've lumped them together with those tested for antibodies so it's difficult to pin down what's actually happening at a given time. Also difficult to pin down the hydroxychloroquine controversy. Many doctors have said that as a preventative and early stage treatment, it's been effective, although not in later stages. Yesterday, a video of a doctor who claims treating 350 patients successfully, with no fatalities, was pulled down by all of the social media giants. It's cheap and available so one has to wonder when its passed over waiting for a vaccine that some of the dissenters stand to make a profit from. A nurse I follow, who has followed all the protocols and then some in the hospital she works in, has just been tested positive. Her symptoms at this point are fairly mild but she wants to use it. Doctors in Florida are not allowed to prescribe it. No other medication is given, only supplements so she only can wait out a period of time. She feels she has the right to try.
New decking..I'm assuming the composite you mention is some variation of Trex. We did over our front stoop deck a couple of years ago. It is more expensive than the usual but in my estimation, well worth it. It holds up looking like new with none of the annual chores that a wooden deck requires.
