There is a very frank and honest podcast/interview With Olga Romanoff on youtube - where she is being asked if her title is on her driving license and in her pass - and she say no it is not.
So in fact she does not "officially" in the British system have a foreign title.
If Brits socially wish to call themselves Princess Romanoff or Count Mapelli Mozzi they can... unless the use of the title is protected in some way...
