I watched a documentary about Albert recently on YouTube and there is a moment in which a palace archivist is bringing a British letter of credentials to the archives. The printed text in the
body of the document refers to the Prince as ‘Serene Highness’ but the handwritten salutation at the end reads:
Sir My Brother and Cousin
Your Royal Highness’s Good Sister and Cousin
