The reason of my question is that I was in Madrid last week and visited the Palace de Liria.

Wonderful visit, but ... on top of one table there was a photo of the current Duke with Prince Albert of Monaco with this dedication: "À Son Altesse le Duc d'Alba ... Albert II de Monaco".

I asked the guide about this style and he felt a bit awkward.
In the end, he replied maybe Albert was just being nice since the Albas have royal ancestry, although illegitimate, as he recognized.

Albert II should know better how to dedicate his photos .
