According to the biography THE WARRIOR QUEEN, the famous power couple of Spain are ancestors to nine of the ten reigning monarchs of Europe today. The author omitted Liechtenstein, however. Does anybody know why? I would imagine that Prince Hans Adam II would be descended from them, given his Habsburg ancestry ...

Some time ago, somebody stated that the only European royals NOT descended from them are the Montenegrins. I believe that the Montenegrins and the Grimaldis of Monaco would also be the only European royals not descended from James Stuart -- the Scottish king who inherited the English throne after the death of Queen Elizabeth I, the last of the Tudors.
