The Danish Prime Minister just told things as they were. If you are a real leader you know how to handle this kind of situations - like Mette Frederiksen has done. She has shown true statesmanship.
Just thought you might want to read Trump's thoughts on the matter. If you scroll down, you will see some remarks from Denmark's prime minister.

Chequer - I can assure you there was no intention to offend the Queen. From what I've read about Trump, he absolutely likes royalty and loves meeting with them. I doubt that the Queen was offended. She has been on the throne long enough to have seen and heard it all. The Prime Minister owes her an apology. It was her job as a top official/diplomst to assure that everything went off smoothly and she failed her sovereign. But, if I may, if the Queen did take offense, I have no problem offering an apology.
Mildred, by his conduct Trump has insulted the Queen of Denmark. Unforgivable.
