I just acquired what I believe is a newer Dietz Little Wizard and have a few questions if I may. It is painted blue, not too awful rusty and has a large fount. On the tank is imprinted DIETZ N.Y.U.S.A. and on the other side LITTLE WIZARD. Vertical beading on the air tubes as well as "45 degree" "swept" horizontal beading. The tank has a "bead" just over half way up in which the tank rises vertical instead of leaning inwards. (Hope you understand this less than professional description) and a sunburst design on the bottom of the tank which is about 7 and 5/8 in diameter.
I looked in the usual place for a date on the air tube, but haven't cleaned it thoroughly but it appears there is no date or patent numbers, but again, I'm not positive. It also has a red globe with No.10 and an E below with three short lines on either side of the E. No other markings on the globe. Oh, and there are no markings on the top of the lantern. Any help in identifying manufacture date is appreciated.
