The 1883 SG&L catalog calls it a No 0 Genuine Tubular Lantern. There are also ads for No 1, and No 2 lanterns and both take the taller very rare No 1 globe, the No 2 also has a large fount and larger burner. Place a standard No 0 globe beside the one in the lantern to see if it's proper height, if it takes a globe about 3/4" taller (No 1), it is a No 1 or No 2 lantern.
The reflector is an option shown attached to the lantern and separate.
The ad attached is from 1884 and has the optional reflector attachment installed. None in the catalog or ad have the spring top as well as the blow hole, so it's probably a year or so earlier or later. The blow hole is called a patent extinguisher and is advertised as "Has an Outside Filler and Patent Extinguisher. Our trademark TUBULAR is stamped in raised letters upon the top of the oil chamber".
