Ham SSS ?

On the right is a Ham SSS. On the left is a lantern that has characteristics of the SSS. There are no markings anywhere. The cone is winglock steel. The globe retainer is reversed and the globe guard is soldered to the tubes. Is this a generic variation of the SSS or something else?
