Originally called the Perfect Lift, it started with the common Pipe Tee, shown in the 1900 (1902) catalog. Embury was making Chisel Tees in 1909 and it appears that they left the Chisel tooling with Defiance and their early Wicket globe wires with Prisco, by the time they left Rochester in 1911. The Defiance 1924 catalog shows the (name shortened) Perfect still with the Chisel Tee, but it also looks like they used recycled older artwork in that catalog. The Perfect ends-up with the Beaded Diagonal-Cut Tee that Embury started using in 1912, and also seen on the Star Headlight hot blasts. Quite a Rochester connection, even after Embury moved to Warsaw.
The Winfield bottom lift made it into the 20th Century, but not the Cross Tee version. The only Cross Tee made after 1900 was the Victor. BB
