Assuming you are referring to a small fill cold blast with a tall globe and the lift lever on the outside of the right tube, that is the most common Ham cold blast. If it has an "O" ring and wire staple pull ring on the crown it is 1898-circa 1904. If the pull ring is a truncated O fastened with a broad sheet metal staple, it is circa 1904-1909. If it has a pull ring with a light-bulb shape like used on Dietz C.B.'s after 1910, it is 1910-1911. I'm still working on pinning-down the circa 1904 date. Should your lantern have a large fill port and the lift lever on the inside of the tube, it is 1912-1914.
