That is sweet! A solid 1912-1914, now I need to search thru mine to see if it ever got the vertical tube reinforcement being used by Ham in that period. Probably not. This was the direct competitor to the Dietz Royal and both were throwback designs retaining the flat fount. Dietz also had the flat fount plain tube HY-LO going in 1913 that did not get any tube reinforcing until after the Ham tooling was acquired in 1914. You got a good deal that would cost $50+ on ebay. The aftermarket globe is probably not period, being the hot blast variant shape that shows up after 1914; but you can take it in the dark and check it with a black light to be sure. Clear globes made before 1915 will glow a greenish yellow under UV light. BB
