I talked to my sister today and my youngest niece was bitten on the foot at a bird sanctuary by a viper. My niece didn't see it in time. Thankfully the hospital was 3 minutes away and they sent an air ambulance and were waiting with the antivenom. She was in intensive care but is going home today. She lives close to my sister in Florida.

My niece's husband was with her (thankfully!) and quickly took a pic to show the doctors. He also killed the viper.
