my sister said that it was a viper rattlesnake. I wonder if it was the dusky pygmy rattlesnake--apparently they cause the most rattlesnake bites in Florida. I was envisioning a green pit viper.

I'll check in with my sister later in the week. I hope that there aren't any bad lasting effects.
