Thank you all for your comments. Mae seems to be bouncing back at least for now. Having over 20ml of fluid drained from her abdomen with a syringe had to be stressful. But she must feel so much better without it. Her appetite is returning as is a more normal posture and mood. We are hopeful the implant will work.
