As the Amalienborg museum is quite small, do you think there is any possibility that there would be interest in having it open to the public (for a fee, of course) and restore it in the klunkestil of King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine? The interiors were probably not altered that much and the old furniture could be put to good use. Maybe too far a jaunt to Kgs. Lyngby?
I love the idea, but it's probably not realistic. Too far off the beaten tourist track - and I fear the Government would prefer to turn it into modern offices.
