Btw. i noticed that King Christian X. and Queen Aklexandrine were the last royal Couple to have another Copenhagen residence in addition to their Amalienborg manison. Why wwas that not continued when the future Frederik IX. and Ingrid got married?

As the Amalienborg museum is quite small, do you think there is any possibility that there would be interest in having it open to the public (for a fee, of course) and restore it in the klunkestil of King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine? The interiors were probably not altered that much and the old furniture could be put to good use. Maybe too far a jaunt to Kgs. Lyngby?
I love the idea, but it's probably not realistic. Too far off the beaten tourist track - and I fear the Government would prefer to turn it into modern offices.
